One can preprint a series of specimen labels which can be associated with specimens when they are collected:

  1. Enter the four required fields for a specimen: Basis of record, Institution code, Collection code, and Catalogue number. Example: Living Specimen, UGUAM, ESUG, test002
  2. Make sure the "pretty URLs" feature is turned on (Structure | Tools | Pretty URLs). Then, the URL for the new record will be http://guaminsects.myspecies.info/UGUAM-ESUG-test002.
