Microlepidoptera Reared from Leucaena leucocephala pods

These microleps were reared from Leucaena leucocephala seed pods.  Also caught in a Malaise trap near L. leucocephala.

There appears to be an image of a psyllid or other small insect portrayed in the scales of the distal part of the forewing.

There is a good match with images of Labdia sp. 1, Labdia sp. 2, and Labdia sp. 8 (Lepidoptera: Cosmopterigidae) on the BOLD Systems site.

An even better match on the BOLD site: Labdia deliciosella.

The NHM Lepidopteran hostplant database lists two species of Labdia which attacks Leucaena: L. albimaculella and L. calida.

Labdia deliciosella 2

An even better match: Cosmopterix sp.?? and here.
